EU-Data Act

The App collects data generated during each brushing session. This brushing data is stored in JSON format and includes details about your brushing habits, app settings, and preferences. The connected product generates data only when actively in use. Continuous or real-time data generation is not supported. Data is stored both on-device and remotely when connected to the App.

The retention policy is as follows:

  • On-device: Data will be retained for up to 500 sessions.

  • Remote storage: Data will be retained for 48 months.

Users may request access (or erasure) of their brushing data by following the instructions provided in the App under the "Legal" menu, titled "EU Data Act." Users wishing to share their data with a third party can submit such a request through the link mentioned above. Users reaching out through a third party will be asked to verify their request through email by responding to an email once the request has been started by the third party. Failure to reply will result in denial of the request.

The sole data holder is Procter & Gamble (P&G). For inquiries, please contact us via the link in the "Legal" menu or visit OralB.com to create a Global Consumer Relations ticket.

The data collected is used solely for your benefit to track brushing habits and preferences. We do not share this data with third parties without your consent. Users have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent authority if they believe their rights under these Terms have been infringed.

The above terms will remain in effect until the user chooses to delete their data or until the end of the retention time (as per policy above).
